21. Houston Texans: Ryan Kelly, C

Original Pick: WR Will Fuller

If it weren’t for injuries, Will Fuller would be a fine selection for the Houston Texans in this re-draft. Fuller has obvious speed and athleticism that makes him a dynamic weapon for the Texans when he is healthy. However, he has struggled with injuries throughout his NFL career, including a torn ACL that cut his 2018 season short.

Instead of taking a shot on Fuller’s health, the Texans solidify their offensive line here. The offensive line has been the number one issue for the Texans in recent years and any possible opportunity to improve it should be taken.

Ryan Kelly is a rock-solid starting center who would have brought some legitimate stability to the Texans’ offensive front. Center was a huge need at this time, making this is a great case where best available meets team need.

22. Washington Redskins: Tyler Boyd, WR

Original Pick: WR Josh Doctson

Josh Doctson is an interesting jump ball receiver who still has some upside going forward. However, at this point in his career, he is on the verge of becoming a bust. The need at the wide receiver position was real for the Texans at this time and Tyler Boyd would have been a better selection.

Boyd is a smooth route runner and smart player who knows how to find open space. He does a majority of his damage in the slot but can make some noise on the outside as well. The Redskins could really just use some stability at wide receiver, which is something that Boyd would undoubtedly provide.
