19. Buffalo Bills: Laremy Tunsil, OL

Original Pick: DE Shaq Lawson

The Buffalo Bills’ selection of Shaq Lawson with the 19th overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft has left plenty to be desired, making this is an obvious place to choose a new player. This is the spot where Laremy Tunsil makes the most sense.

We talked about Tunsil’s fall on draft day earlier and while it was certainly a tough way to start his career, Tunsil has become a good starting left tackle for the Dolphins. At this time, the Bills still had Cordy Glenn holding down left tackle, but John Miller at right guard and Jordan Mills at right tackle left plenty to be desired. There was certainly room for Tunsil to make an impact here.

The offensive line has been a major issue for the Bills in recent years. Having Tunsil would not have fixed everything, but he certainly would have helped.

20. New York Jets: Myles Jack, LB

Original Pick: LB Darron Lee

Darron Lee was never able to make much of an impact with the New York Jets, but taking an off-ball linebacker at number 20 did make some sense. Instead of Lee, the Jets should have taken Myles Jack.

There were a lot of questions surrounding Jack during the 2016 NFL Draft. He was obviously a talented player, but a knee injury severely hurt his draft stock. He fell to the second and has been a strong defensive asset for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jets should have taken a chance on Jack’s knee in 2016 and do so in this re-draft situation.
