Ryan Schraeder – Offensive Tackle – Best Fit:  New York Giants

After opting to not address right tackle during the 2019 NFL Draft, and signing former Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings tackle Mike Remmers, the New York Giants still are in need of a reliable right tackle.

That’s why I believe Ryan Schraeder could be a fit for them. To me, Schraeder is a good, but not great right tackle. While yes, Schraeder is a little older at 31, and Remmers has already played for Giants head coach Pat Shurmur, I think he would serve the Giants better at protecting Eli Manning and/or Daniel Jones.

The best part is, the Giants would not have to sign him to a long term deal, two years at most. By signing Schraeder, Dave Gettleman and Co. could wait until the 2020 NFL Draft rolls around and target a big-time offensive tackle prospect like Andrew Thomas or a Tristan Wirfs.

Jay Ajayi – Running Back – Best Fit: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Because why not? After 2018 second round-pick Ronald Jones failed to live up to his draft stock during his rookie season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should look to add a bit more punch to their backfield. Enter Jay Ajayi.

Like some of the other names on this list, Ajayi is no stranger when it comes to injuries and his, in all honesty, are not enticing. After suffering a knee injury at Boise State and another this past season, I would not be surprised if goes unsigned for a while. However, giving his youth (age 26) and his overall talent, I personally would pull the trigger on him.

In terms of a deal, I would sign him to a one-year “prove it” deal, just to see if he can, in fact, stay healthy. If so, and the Bucs feel comfortable signing him to a longer deal then they have a Pro Bowl talent to help Jameis Winston. Simply put, Ajayi is one of the best NFL free agents on the market and would undoubtedly help the Bucs.
