The Houston Texans may have had the worst offseason of any team in the NFL. What moves should they have made to get better?

The Houston Texans have DeShaun Watson, DeAndre Hopkins, JJ Watt, Jadeveon Clowney (hopefully), and they won the AFC South last year.

So believe me, what I’m about to say I say with all due respect.

The Texans had the worst offseason of any team in the NFL, and I don’t think it’s particularly close. This is more than just missing out on certain players in the draft or free agency, this is about not doing what it takes to surround a budding superstar (if he isn’t one already) at the quarterback position with the appropriate talent to compete in a championship window.

The Texans’ top five most important moves of the offseason are a sad indicator of what this team is banking its 2019 hopes on — unproven upside.

It will be extremely difficult for Houston to repeat as division champions in 2019, but it didn’t have to be that way.

Here are four moves I think the Texans should have made in 2019 to properly defend their division crown and not only that, but compete for a championship right now.
