2. Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants

Picking any skill player was a tough task.

I quickly eliminated tight ends and broke this down to running backs and receivers, and from there it was either Saquan Barkley or a receiver like Odell Beckham Jr.

While I love me some Odell, Barkley is a guy I think could have the ball in his hands on every play and keep you competitive in games. He’s that good.

Considering I’m also hypothetically building around Patrick Mahomes here, could you imagine a backfield with these two?

Wow.

Barkley eclipsed 2,000 yards from scrimmage in his rookie season with 15 total touchdowns and almost six yards per touch.

He’s got size, speed, power, hands, vision, elusiveness, and he’s an absolute stud.
