Oakland Raiders: 3 UDFAs who could make an impact
Alec Ingold, FB, Wisconsin
Gruden wants the Oakland Raiders to run a smash-mouth offense. They are going to throw the ball down the field to their talented receivers, but Gruden undoubtedly wants to open up those passing lanes by consistently running the ball down the throat of the defense.

If they are going to do so successfully, they need to have a good blocking fullback. Undrafted free agent Alec Ingold certainly fits the bill.
Ingold was a major part of Wisconsin’s successful rushing attack the last four seasons, consistently opening up holes for his backs. He was the best fullback in the 2019 NFL Draft and the only one who was invited to both the Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine.
Ingold is a great run blocker who consistently dominates at the point of attack. He is a fantastic ISO blocker who can create push on contact and also shows the ability to steer defenders out of the way. Simply put, he has tremendous natural upside as a blocking fullback at the next level.
The Raiders will only have one spot on the roster for a fullback and that spot will likely go to Ingold or the incumbent Keith Smith. If the Raiders want to showcase a power-rushing attack, as we expect, Ingold should be the guy as the much better blocker.
Alec Ingold has a great chance to come in and be an immediate contributor for the Oakland Raiders and make a long-term impact in their offense.
