1. Baker Mayfield

I mean, who else could it be? Baker Mayfield was incredibly impressive as a rookie last season, completing 63.8% of his passes for 3,725 yards, 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

He was far from perfect, but Mayfield injected life in the Browns’ franchise with his exciting on-field play, great leadership qualities and incredible moxie. He is a true franchise quarterback who shows impressive pocket presence, can make any throw on the football field and is consistently accurate.

Mayfield had the majority of his success last season after Freddie Kitchens took over the offense. Kitchens is now the head coach of the Browns and will be able to consistently put Mayfield in situations to succeed. The addition of Monken as offensive coordinator will also undoubtedly help Mayfield, as he is a forward-thinking offensive coach who can help scheme space in the passing game.

Mayfield has no shortage of weapons in the Browns’ offense. He also has a fantastic coaching staff who will consistently put him in position to succeed. The former Heisman Trophy winner is in the perfect situation to take the next step, it is simply up to him make the most out of it.

I don’t know about you, but I am not betting against Baker Mayfield.
