The Buffalo Bills had a monster offseason in 2019. What were the top five moves they made to surround Josh Allen with the best talent possible?

In the NFL, when you think you’ve found a franchise quarterback, you surround him with talent at all costs.

Literally.

The Buffalo Bills believe they have found a franchise QB in Josh Allen, who impressed as a rookie despite finishing with more interceptions (12) in 11 starts than he did touchdown passes (10).

Despite Allen’s slow development as a passer, he unleashed a skill with the Bills that has some people thinking he could be Sean McDermott’s version of Cam Newton.

McDermott, who was hired by the Bills for his work as defensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers, saw his rookie quarterback rush for 631 yards and eight touchdowns.

Allen is certainly athletic, but those are awesome numbers for a quarterback.

The Bills need Allen to cut down on turnover-worthy plays (12 interceptions, eight fumbles in 12 games) but they also needed to put better talent around him.

If you’re part of Bills Mafia, I’m sure it looks like operation ‘surround Allen with talent’ has been accomplished, but what moves were the best and most important?

I’m here to rank the top five.
