The 2019 NCAA Football Season is creeping ever so closely. Which means there are takes to be given! Today we take a look at the country’s Top 5 Units. From Tuscaloosa to the Plains in Auburn, college football has some powerhouse units.

#1: Alabama’s Wide Receivers

By now you should know who Jerry Jeudy is, or at least I hope you do. The world knows about Jeudy’s speed and playmaking ability from his first two seasons in Tuscaloosa and he’s got seemingly one more season before entering the NFL to leave a historical mark on college football.

Jeudy hopes to repeat as the Biletnikoff Award Winner this season, becoming the first to do so since Justin Blackmon in ’10 & ’11.

Well, they’ve got a couple of other guys that are pretty darn good as well. Does the name Henry Ruggs III mean anything to you? ‘Cause it should. On any other team in the country, this 10.53 second 100 Meter runner, is easily a primary target. But at Alabama, he’s just another guy. In fact, last season Bama had five receivers catch at least 40 balls.

Another one of those “guys” is Jaylen Waddle, who by all statistical measures slightly outperformed Ruggs as a true freshman last season. The former 4-star recruit was obviously highly touted coming out of high school but earned playing time early by dominating in camp and continuing doing such his first year at Alabama.
