First Base: Aaron Donald

First base is commonly the position for power and Aaron Donald certainly fits the bill. Donald would be the ideal power-hitting cleanup hitter for our squad, driving in runs on a consistent basis. He might strike out a bit more than you would like to see, but this guy would hit a lot of dingers.

Donald’s sneaky quickness and explosive athleticism would also make him a fantastic defensive first baseman. Simply put, Donald’s well-rounded skill set needs to be on this squad and first base feels like the right spot.

Second Base: Russell Wilson

Before he was a star quarterback, Russell Wilson was a legitimate baseball prospect who has real upside as a second baseman. Wilson was drafted twice in the MLB Draft, once in the 41st round out of high school and later in the fourth round of the 2010 MLB Draft.

Wilson would be a smooth defender at second base showing quick feet and hands and a strong throwing arm. He would also be a strong contact hitter to stick in the lineup, possibly in the leadoff spot.

Shortstop: Patrick Mahomes

We all know how great of an athlete Patrick Mahomes is and how he used to be a premier baseball prospect. His father was also an MLB pitcher.

This guy is a do-it-all athlete who was going to be successful no matter which direction he went. With a rocket arm, slick fielding and of course, the ability to throw from all angles, Mahomes is the perfect shortstop for this team.

Third Base: Khalil Mack

Let’s get a little goofy here. Khalil Mack is arguably the best defensive player in all of football, showing a ridiculous combination of power and athleticism on the edge. Adding him to the mix on this baseball team would give them some much-needed power and ridiculous offensive and defensive upside.
