3. Drafting WR Mecole Hardman

The availability of Tyreek Hill is undoubtedly the biggest question facing the Kansas City Chiefs going forward. Hill is a dynamic playmaker who has become the best weapon in the best offense in the entire NFL. However, his off-field issues undoubtedly cloud his NFL future.

If Hill gets suspended, the Chiefs are going to lose their number one target in the passing game. Mahomes and company should be able to get by without Hill, but it will not be easy. That being said, drafting Mecole Hardman will undoubtedly help.

Similarly to Hill, Hardman is an extremely quick and elusive receiver who has massive upside at the next level. He has elite deep speed, easily creates separation and is a fantastic playmaker with the ball in his hands.

Hardman is undoubtedly a raw talent. He has only been playing the wide receiver position for two seasons. That being said, his immense talent and upside are obvious. Hardman should rapidly grow into a productive wide receiver in the Chiefs’ offense.

Losing Hill would be tough, but Hardman has a similar skill set and the raw upside to be just as productive. The Kansas City Chiefs did an incredible job of protecting themselves from losing one of their best offensive weapons by drafting Hardman to potentially replace him.
