1. Signing DL Malik Jackson

Of all the moves the Eagles made this offseason, none is more important to their 2019 success than the move they made to sign defensive lineman Malik Jackson.

Jackson, who became one of the elite interior defensive linemen with the Denver Broncos from 2013-15, signed a massive contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2016 offseason.

He helped the Jaguars get all the way to the AFC Championship game in 2017 before a down year statistically in 2018, and he became a cap casualty for the Jags in 2019.

Now with a renewed chip on his shoulder and a new (even better) cast of characters around him in Philadelphia, Jackson is primed for one more jolt in his career as an interior player.

If you would have told the Eagles three years ago they could pair Jackson with Fletcher Cox on their defensive front, they probably would have fainted in excitement.

Together with Cox, Jackson can help give the Eagles one of the most disruptive interior duos in the league.

The guys the Eagles have up front are going to be absolute bullies to opposing offensive linemen. It will be exciting to see what the veteran Jackson can do for them.
