2. Trading for WR DeSean Jackson

It’s hard not to put this at number one, especially given the sentimental value here for the Eagles.

Jackson played his first six NFL seasons with the Eagles but hasn’t donned the green since the 2013 season.

He’s played for Washington and Tampa Bay over the last five years, and he’s continued to play at a very high level.

His last 1,000 yard season came three years ago as a member of the Redskins, but Jackson averaged almost 19 yards per reception this past season at the age of 32 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He is still a very explosive playmaker in the passing game and can help the Eagles stretch the field on a consistent basis. The addition of Jackson along with JJ Arcega-Whiteside to Philadelphia’s offensive weaponry which already features Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor will make defensive coordinators lose sleep at night.

Even if Jackson just has one really great year left in him, it’s clear his speed hasn’t gone anywhere. If he stays healthy, he’s going to be a game-changer for this team.
