Jerry Jeudy will not only be the best wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he is also the best prospect at the position in recent memory.

The 2020 NFL Draft is going to be absolutely loaded at the skill positions. There are going to be many players at the wide receiver and running back positions who will legitimately be worthy of a first-round selection. However, Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is undoubtedly the best of the bunch.

Jeudy is a 6-foot-1, 192-pound receiver with electric speed and incredible overall athletic ability. He exploded onto the scene last season, finishing the year with 68 receptions for 1,315 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was a consensus first-team All-American selection and won the Fred Biletnikoff Award, given to the best wide receiver in all of college football.

Jeudy showcases incredible natural speed and agility on the field. He can take any defensive back deep, exploding off of the line of scrimmage with ease. He also shows the ability to get to full speed quickly, changes directions on a dime and consistently create space with unique route running ability.

He does a fantastic job of creating space in the short to intermediate range, changing directions quickly and using his speed to consistently separate against man coverage. Jeudy really shines in the deep passing game, where he can win with raw speed, but also shows the ability to dominate with devastating double moves.

Once he creates that space with his incredible athleticism and route running ability, Jeudy does a fantastic job of catching the football. He has soft hands and consistently catches the ball away from his body. He also fights for the ball in the air extremely well, regularly coming down with contested catches.

Jeudy is also dynamic with the ball in his hands. His short-area quickness and overall elusiveness stand out on tape, as Jeudy can consistently leave would-be tacklers in the dust. He is extremely slippery with the ball in his hands, creating extra yardage after the catch. He also has a bit of power when he decides to try to win that way.
