2. Daryl Worley, Cornerback

The Oakland Raiders made a ton of changes on the defensive side of the ball this offseason, but they didn’t let go of Daryl Worley, who started nine games and had an interception last season.

Still just 24, it feels like Worley has been in the league a lot longer than just three seasons, but that’s just because he’s on his second NFL team.

Did he play well enough in 2018 to lock in a starting job opposite Gareon Conley this year? Time will tell, but the Raiders didn’t draft Trayvon Mullen to sit on the bench.

They drafted him 40th overall to play, and that means someone’s going to have to take a seat.

There are ways the Raiders could get both guys on the field, but at some point, someone’s going to have to give way to Mullen as the CB2 for the Raiders and right now that guy is Worley.

It may not happen immediately, but Worley is going to have to do everything he can to lock his position — and his side of the field — down.
