He’s a winner

If you couldn’t already tell that Prescott is a winner by his record in his first three seasons, let me add more. Since 2016, Dak Prescott has led the Cowboys on 14 game winning drives in the regular season. His 14 game winning drives leads the league over that time period.

Now I want to refer to a play that is, in my opinion, the greatest play of Prescott’s young career. This play came against the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. The Dallas Cowboys faced a third and 14 late in the game. Prescott dropped back, but then ran for 16 yards to pick up a first down.

This wasn’t just any run. Prescott ran past several Seahawks defenders, including Bobby Wagner, who could be considered the best LB in the NFL. Prescott’s run set up a TD to secure the win for his team.

You don’t see a play like that everyday. You don’t see a play like that from every QB. There’s no question about it, Prescott is a winner, which is exactly why he’s worth $30 million a year.
