New England Patriots: 3 UDFAs who could make an impact

For Patriots fans, this could be a bit of a throwback.

Nick Brossette has shades of Kevin Faulk in his game. Fault was a bit smaller than Brossette, who is nearly six feet tall, but both players have/had the ability to contribute as third-down backs and really excel in that area.

Brossette is not the fastest running back in this year’s class, but he’s a very smooth receiver out of the backfield and has excellent explosiveness as a one-cut runner.

Some even feel he was the best pass protecting back in the class.

This is not a guy who is going to break off 50-yard touchdown runs, but he’s certainly going to be able to be an outlet in the passing game on third down and can stick his thick frame in there for pass pro.

The Patriots got the ‘better’ version of this in the Draft itself with Damien Harris coming in from Alabama, but Brossette is the type of guy who could
