2020 NFL Draft: Way-too-early first-round mock draft

25. Oakland Raiders: Tuf Borland – Linebacker – Ohio State

For me, the Raiders roster is much improved after the 2019 NFL Draft, the only glaring hole left on their roster is at middle linebacker. And to me, there is no other prospect at this moment that could be more of a fit than Tuf Borland. As his name suggests, Borland is a hard-hitting, instinctual linebacker could be a tackling machine for the Raiders.

26. Philadelphia Eagles: Trevon Diggs – Cornerback – Alabama

I’m not a Jalen Mills truther and I’m too big of a fan of the other players the Eagles have at cornerback, so for me, I see it as an obvious need heading into the 2020 NFL Draft.

Trevon Diggs could fix that issue, as he played pretty well for Alabama in 2018. While showing great coverage ability and speed, Diggs could step in day one and contribute right away.

27. Indianapolis Colts:  Derrick Brown – Defensive Tackle – Auburn

After coming ever so close to declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft, Auburn’s Derrick Brown decided to return for one more season. Brown is not only a big man (6-foot-5 325 pounds), he would also fill a big need for the Indianapolis Colts.

Despite seemingly having zero roster holes, the one position the Colts are lacking in as defensive tackle. With Brown, they would get a big run-stuffing defensive tackle who has some pass rushing ability.

28. Cleveland Browns: Alohi Gilman – Safety – Notre Dame

Like the Colts, the Cleveland Browns seem to have one of the best rosters on paper, despite lacking in one or two areas. The area where the Browns don’t seem as strong is at the strong safety position.

However, if they were to bring in a player like Alohi Gilman, that problem could be solved. Gilman would provide the Browns with a hard-hitting play style who will pair nicely with Damarious Randall.
