17. Jacksonville Jaguars: Laviska Shenault Jr. – Wide Receiver- Colorado

The Jags felt good enough about their situation at wide receiver that they decided not to address it during the draft. However, I, like many still see it as a need for them.

With that I in mind, I have given them Laviska Shenault from Colorado. Shenault is a good route runner with even better hands, and he gives the Jags some versatility in terms of where he can line up on the field. He’s showed production at Colorado, and I think he’ll show it again in the pros, especially with Nick Foles at under center.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Julian Blackmon – Cornerback – Utah

With Ben Roethlisberger looking at his final few years with the Pittsburgh Steelers, I was almost tempted to give them Roethlisberger’s heir apparent with this pick. However, the Steelers secondary still isn’t great and is a constant nagging issue for them.

More from NFL Mocks

Enter Julian Blackmon from Utah, who is one of two potential first round corners. Blackmon is the technician of the pair, which should catch the eye of the Steelers scouting staff. He would be an instant upgrade over the likes of Artie Burns.

19. Atlanta Falcons: Curtis Weaver – Defensive End – Bosie State

Given his imminent contract expiration and lack of production, it’s a pretty safe bet at this point that Vic Beasley will not be playing much longer in Atlanta. In fact, if the Falcons re-sign Beasley I would very surprised.

But in the likelihood that they let him walk, Curtis Weaver would be a more than acceptable replacement. After exploding his first two years at Bosie State, Weaver looks primed to have another tremendous season again in 2019 and has the potential to replicate that at the next level. Adding his size and burst off the edge with Takkarist McKinley, the Falcons could have a great pass rush duo.

20. Los Angeles Chargers: Jacob Eason – Quarterback – Washington

Speaking of heir apparent, I believe it’s high time for the Chargers begin to look for the man to fill the shoes of Philip Rivers. Personally, I do not believe that Easton Stick, whom they drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, is that guy.

The man I believe can take over for Phillip Rivers is current Washington Husky Jacob Eason. While we haven’t seen much of him, the little we have seen of Eason is enough to get most people excited. In the time that he’s played, Eason has shown great poise and touch, something that should be intriguing for the Bolts.
