These teams should be targeting the quarterback position in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The 2020 NFL Draft is going to showcase an interesting class of players. First of all, the crop of talent at running back and wide receiver will be arguably as impressive as we have ever seen before. There are a ton of dynamic offensive playmakers who will be able to have a massive impact in the NFL.

However, as per usual, the 2020 NFL Draft will likely be judged on the success of quarterback prospects. Quarterback is the most important position in all of sports and NFL teams are always looking for the next great signal-caller. Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert currently lead the group of quarterbacks in the 2020 NFL Draft, but guys like Jake Fromm and Jacob Eason are likely to receive top of first-round attention as well.

These four quarterbacks currently appear to be the cream of the crop, but there will undoubtedly be a top-tier prospect or two who puts himself in the first-round contention before next April. The top contenders to make that kind of jump during the 2019 college football season include guys like Shea Patterson, Jalen Hurts, K.J. Costello and Brian Lewerke.

Simply put, there is about to be a lot of interesting talent in the 2020 quarterback class, with many teams having an opportunity to find a new franchise signal-caller. Whether it is because of a lack of a strong current option or having an aging quarterback on the roster, there are many teams who could easily be targeting the position early in the 2020 NFL Draft. Let’s take a look at the teams who should be making quarterback an immediate priority.
