Way-too-early 2020 NFL mock draft: Getting to know the 2020 class
The Seattle Seahawks did not address the cornerback position in the 2019 NFL Draft and it stands out as a clear need for the team heading into the season. In this 2020 NFL mock draft, they look to keep building their new Legion of Boom with the selection of Florida cornerback C.J. Henderson.
Henderson is a tremendous cornerback prospect who displays an ideal combination of overall size, length, speed and athleticism. He is a converted running back who is still learning to play corner, but Henderson proved to be a dynamic player at the position last season. He is smooth in his backpedal and is sticky in man-to-man coverage.
Henderson is also a smart player who is commonly in a position to make a play on the ball and can dominate in pass coverage and off-man. There are concerns about his ability and willingness to defend the run, but Henderson is an exciting prospect who has massive NFL potential.
The Baltimore Ravens lost inside linebacker C.J. Mosley in free agency this off season and never really replaced him. A player like Mosley is not easy to replace, but there is another Alabama linebacker in this class who could do just that.
Dylan Moses is a dynamic linebacker prospect who shows high-level speed and athleticism at the position. He ranges from sideline-to-sideline with ease, is an impressive player in coverage and can create pressure on the blitz. Moses would be an ideal fit for the Ravens, giving them a top-level defender to build their defense around.
