Way-too-early 2020 NFL mock draft: Getting to know the 2020 class
Marcus Mariota has shown promise at times during his NFL career. He is clearly a talented player who has the tools to be a good starter in the league. That being said, he has been far too inconsistent and has held the Titans back from true contenders in the AFC. This Titans roster is full of talent on both sides of the ball. If they can find the right quarterback, Tennessee could quickly become an extremely dangerous team.
Fromm is a rock-solid quarterback prospect who wins with his ability to make the right decisions and tremendous accuracy to all fields. He is never going to wow you with his arm strength or athleticism, but he is a tough and resilient player who is a natural leader on the field.
Fromm would come in and bring immediate and long-term stability at the quarterback position for the Titans. With a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, the Titans do not have to swing for the fences at quarterback. Fromm is a smart player who will enter the NFL with a safe floor, making him a perfect fit for Tennessee.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have yet to move on from Gerald McCoy, but we have heard all off season that they are trying to do so. The chances that McCoy will be on the Bucs’ roster in 2020 are slim at best, making defensive tackle a logical need for this team.
Luckily for Tampa Bay, the 2020 draft class is loaded with interior defensive line talent and Auburn’s Derrick Brown is among the best prospects of the bunch. Brown is a big and powerful defensive tackle who moves extremely well for a man of his size. He is explosive off of the snap and shows tremendous ability as both a one-gap penetrator and two-gap run stuffer.
Brown is a gifted player who also displays a high motor and great football IQ. Simply put, he is one of the best defensive prospects in the 2020 draft class and would be a tremendous asset up front for Tampa Bay.
