Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard would probably just trade down here, but in this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Colts add an impact defender to the mix. The Colts made long and athletic defenders a priority in the 2019 draft and they do the same here, taking Terrell Lewis with the 27th pick.

The 2019 season is incredibly important for Lewis, as he tries to prove himself as a top-tier NFL prospect. As a sophomore in 2017, Lewis suffered an arm injury in the first game and missed 10 games. In 2018, he suffered a torn ACL before the season and missed the entire year.

Lewis has a ton of pass rushing upside off of the edge, showcasing a fantastic combination of explosive burst, athleticism and power, but there are obvious durability questions here. The former five-star recruit out of Washington D.C. has struggled mightily with injuries throughout his college career and will have to stay healthy in 2019 in order to be in the first round mix.

The Iowa Hawkeyes had two tight ends drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft and I could see something similar happening with their offensive tackles in 2020. Iowa right tackle Tristan Wirfs was taken earlier in this 2020 NFL mock draft, while their left tackle, Alaric Jackson, goes here to the Cleveland Browns.

Jackson is an exciting offensive tackle prospect who shows the necessary size, quickness and athleticism to be a strong pass protector at the next level. He is far from a finished product, but Jackson has an impressive overall skill set and has real upside as a blindside pass protector at the next level. Bringing Jackson in to protect Baker Mayfield would be a fantastic move for Cleveland.
