Way-too-early 2020 NFL mock draft: Getting to know the 2020 class
The Raiders appeared to have a type in the 2019 NFL Draft. With all three of their first-round selections, the Raiders took tough hard-nosed players who seemingly have safe floors as prospects. I expect more of the same in 2020 as Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock continue to build the core of this team.
Earlier in this 2020 NFL mock draft, Gruden and company took their franchise quarterback. With this pick, they take the guy who would be snapping him the ball for many years. Tyler Biadasz is the best interior offensive line prospect in this draft class. He is a smart player who has a bright future at the center position, has enough quickness to make blocks at all levels and is an extremely tough player.
Biadasz is a physical run blocker who can absolutely dominate with power and he also has good pass protection skills. Simply put, he is the kind of prospect who the Raiders are going to love, making him an obvious fit for the team in the late first round.
It is incredibly difficult to find positions of need for the Philadelphia Eagles. They have a loaded roster with quality depth on both sides of the ball. Like most spots on the roster, the Eagles are deep at cornerback, but they do lack a true number one. With their pick in this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Eagles swing for that number one cornerback, taking Bryce Hall out of Virginia.
Hall is an impressive cover corner who excels in off-man coverage. He has an ideal combination of length and athleticism on the outside and uses his skills extremely well in coverage. Hall is an extremely instinctive player who always seems to know what the offense is trying to do and he also has impressive ball skills. Simply put, he is an extremely gifted player who would be a welcomed addition to the Eagles’ defense.
