Dan Godsil, LS, Indiana

One name that may be in line to have the biggest impact of any UDFA that the Bucs signed is former Indiana long snapper, Dan Godsil.

Tampa Bay chose not to re-sign their long snapper from last season, Garrison Sanborn, and instead brought in journeyman LS Zach Triner to fill the role.

Since getting his first shot in the league back in 2017, Triner has spent time with both the Jets and Packers practice squads but has never suited up for an NFL game. While I’m sure he will be looking to change that in 2019, the addition of Godsil will make things difficult for him.

Godsil was a four-year starter for the Hoosiers and was able to showcase his skills at the senior bowl, as well as the 2019 NFL scouting combine.

He could have easily been a day 3 pick in the draft and is likely the favorite to win that job when camp starts.
