The Denver Broncos have had a lot of success with undrafted players through the years. Which 2019 UDFAs could have an instant impact?

Through the years, the Denver Broncos have had wild success with undrafted free agents. One of the most prominent in team history is former wide receiver Rod Smith, who was one of John Elway’s top targets on Denver’s glory days teams in the late 90s.

Since Elway became the lead decision maker for this Broncos team, that trend has continued and he’s managed to find some exceptional, Pro Bowl players in the undrafted free agent heap.

Chris Harris Jr. was part of Elway’s first UDFA class back in 2011, and he signed Pro Bowl running back Phillip Lindsay in 2018.

Who will be the next in line for Denver?

The Broncos seemingly increased their odds of hitting on a UDFA this year by signing 17 of them after the draft.

Which guys have the best chance to make an impact on this team, immediate or otherwise? Let’s take a look at three players the Broncos picked up after the 2019 NFL Draft who have a shot.
