Tajae Sharp of the Tennessee Titans

Tajae Sharpe – WR

After signing Adam Humphries to a four-year, $36 million contract and drafting AJ Brown with the 51st pick in the second round, Tajae Sharpe should officially be worried. The former fourth-round pick in 2016 out of Massachusets should look for a very tough battle with Brown, who according to Ourlads.com, currently sits behind Sharpe on the depth chart.

After losing the 2017 season due to injury, Sharpe underwhelmed during his returning season with 26 receptions for 316 and 2 TD’s. Along with being pushed down the depth chart by Taywan Taylor (who I almost put here), Sharpe simply did not see the field that often.

Brown, on the other hand, will be hard for the coaches to ignore. At 6-1, 225 pounds, Brown was electric while at Ole Miss, finishing his career with 2,984 yards and 19 touchdowns. He can play in the slot or on the perimeter, making him a versatile weapon in that Titans offense.

With his combination of size and versatility, Brown will give Sharpe a good run for his money during training camp. This will be one of the more interesting battles during that period, although I think Brown will ultimately edge out Sharpe.
