5. Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens were the most receiver-needy team in the whole draft, which explains why they took the first wideout off the board 25 overall in Marquise “Hollywood” Brown of Oklahoma.

The best value pick for John Harbaugh and company was WR Miles Boykin. Matter of fact, Boykin was one of my favorite players coming into Nashville. The 6 foot 4, 220-pound receiver has a frame unlike many at his position. He doesn’t let his size slow him down, as he timed a 4.42 at the Combine in the 40-yard dash. You can never have enough weapons for a scrambler like Lamar Jackson.

In terms of defense, to beef up their now Mosley-less linebacker core, the Ravens quickly assessed their situation in getting one of the draft’s best outside LBs in Jaylon Ferguson. Ferguson fits Baltimore’s defensive scheme and is an ideal replacement after losing Terrell Suggs to the Arizona Cardinals this offseason. He earned himself 17.5 sacks in 13 games during his senior season at Louisiana Tech.

If the Ravens’ offense is able to gain rhythm with the new faces, this team could be very scary considering their top-ranked defense in 2019, who will be getting a new name in case you’ve already forgotten: Earl Thomas.
