5 Teams Who Had The Best 2019 NFL Draft

3. New England Patriots
Just when you you think the defending world champs can’t get any better during the offseason, Belichick and company strike again.
After losing Rob Gronkowski to retirement in March, all defensive backs’ eyes are now on Julian Edelman, especially after that stellar Super Bowl MVP performance. The Patriots needed another weapon and N’Keal Harry from USC will surely be a distraction.
DE Chase Winovich and CB Joejuan Williams from the early rounds will make an immediate impact.
The Patriots went ahead and traded up to snag punter Jake Bailey in the fifth-round. I don’t know about you, but I love seeing punters and kickers being taken, and after seeing the contribution rookie P Michael Dickson provided last season for the Seahawks, an increasing number of teams should be hopping aboard this trend.
This was a smart move by New England, as for kickers and punters alike are becoming more critical for league-wide.
Belichick is notorious for turning certain draftees into stars. One of these players can make that case.
