The 2019 NFL draft has come to an end, setting an attendance record of over 600,000 fans. Here are the 5 teams who had the best draft classes, in no particular order:

1. Arizona Cardinals

First-year coach Kliff Kingsbury and GM Steve Keim went and did the obvious by selecting the Heisman-winning quarterback Kyler Murray number one overall. But that is not the only factor in why they had one of the best days in Nashville last week.

After 11 picks, they made sure to make Larry Fitzgerald happy for what could be his last season by addressing their receiving core situation, taking three receivers off the board: Andy Isabella who ran a 4.31 at the Combine, the bouncy KeeSean Johnson, and the large-framed, 6’6″ Hakeem Butler.

During his senior year, Andy Isabella was open more than a 7-11 gas station, catching over 102 balls for an NCAA-leading 1698 yards. He also led his conference in receiving touchdowns with 10 in his junior season and 13 in his senior season.

Pairing up a healthy Byron Murphy with veteran Patrick Peterson at the cornerback position was perhaps my favorite pick of the whole second round. And the reason I say healthy is because he is highly vulnerable to injury, playing just 20 games in college; when 100 percent, he was able to limit opposing quarterbacks to 47.1 percent overall passer rating in 2018.

The Cardinals certainly took the crown for the second round.

If they are unable to significantly improve their offense — which ranked dead last in 2018 — after a solid draft like this, then Arizona can kiss their playoff hopes goodbye for quite some time.

Even though most of their draft was a no-brainer in what to fix, they capitalized. Unlike some teams *cough* Giants *cough*.
