Cleveland Browns. . team. 53. . .

1 (46): Greedy Williams, CB, LSU
2 (80): Sione Takitaki, LB, BYU
3 (119): Sheldrick Redwine, S, Miami
4 (155): Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama
5 (170): Austin Seibert, K, Oklahoma
6 (189): Drew Forbes, OG, Southeast Missouri
7 (221): Donnie Lewis, CB, Tulane

The Cleveland Browns’ draft was really just extra icing on the beautiful wedding cake that was their 2019 offseason.

Would any Browns fans have really cared if the team traded away their entire class here? They ended up getting some good players.

Greedy Williams is a phenomenal coverage cornerback, but he doesn’t tackle overly well. We’ll see how that goes over in the NFL, but pairing him with Denzel Ward is awesome. Getting Greedy at 46 is really like having a first-round pick, even though Cleveland traded theirs to the Giants.

Sione Takitaki has become a strong leader and a put together linebacker to say the least, but he literally sat out the 2016 season for BYU just to get his you-know-what together.

He will end up being a starter for the Browns at linebacker and he plays with reckless abandon. I thought he was a mid-day three pick.

Sheldrick Redwine and Mack Wilson add even more physicality to the Browns’ defense. Wilson, in particular, was a phenomenal value. Redwine could vie for a starting safety gig sooner than later.

Austin Seibert will like kicking extra points for Baker Mayfield touchdowns again.

Drew Forbes and Donnie Lewis will have to impress in camp and in the preseason in order to make this roster.

The Browns rightly feel good about where things are at for their offense. They drafted only one offensive player and one special teams player, the rest were defense.
