The Patriots keep winning

It doesn’t matter if they’re on or off the field, the Patriots are winning.

First they win the Super Bowl. Then Tom Brady gets a Twitter account. Now the NFL Draft.

The Patriots got N’Keal Harry out of Arizona State in the first round, followed that up with their top second round pick Joejuan Williams, a defensive back out of Vanderbilt.

I’m giving myself a pat on the back for that one as Williams was my final first-round mock draft pick for the Patriots based on some pre-draft buzz. New England loves this tall, long playmaker to be a matchup guy for their defense.

After Williams, the Patriots used third-round selections on Alabama running back Damien Harris, Michigan defensive end Chase Winovich, and West Virginia offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste.

People said the meat of this draft was in the 2nd-3rd round range, and these picks are reflective of that. I think the Patriots got five starters in the first two days of the Draft.
