2019 NFL Draft: Josh Rosen trade leads biggest day two stories
Day two of the 2019 NFL Draft was filled with intrigue, surprises, and some big trades including Josh Rosen heading to the Miami Dolphins.
Day two of the 2019 NFL Draft is in the books, and what a day it was.
There were so many surprise picks, so much movement on the trade market, and so many interesting storylines to follow across the entire league.
What went down in the second and third rounds of the 2019 draft that you have to know about?
Josh Rosen traded to Miami
This is a no-brainer trade for the Dolphins.
Miami moved down in the second round to 62, got an extra 2nd round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and still managed to come away from this whole thing with Rosen.
This should be looked at as the Dolphins acquiring a 2018 top 10 pick for a 2019 2nd and 2020 5th.
That’s a steal.
The Dolphins now have a chance to evaluate Rosen for a year and see if they need to go after a QB in the 2020 NFL Draft, where they have a bunch of extra capital.

Rosen looks pretty good in the Dolphins colors.
The Cardinals knew they weren’t going to get a ‘great’ return for Rosen but they ended up getting a 2nd round pick and UMass wide receiver Andy Isabella.
