Texas A&M. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Daylon Mack. 160. player. 26. DT

The Baltimore Ravens are really having a heck of a draft, and with a bunch of losses this offseason, it was necessary.

One player I really like in their class regardless of round (but fitting for this post) is Texas A&M defensive tackle Daylon Mack.

Mack, a squatty defensive tackle with quickness and strength, was a top recruit coming out of high school but struggled to get things going for the Aggies until his breakout senior season.

He finished his senior season as a nose tackle with 10 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks, had a great offseason circuit, and looks like he could contribute right away in the NFL in sub packages.

I think he’s going to be a really solid rotational guy in the NFL and this is a great value for the Ravens.
