Amani Oruwariye. 146. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 50. CB. Penn State

Any time I see a guy get picked on day three that was once projected in the first round of mock drafts, I pay attention.

Amani Oruwariye was projected all offseason as a day two pick at the very least, so for him to last into the fifth round is a bit of a shocker.

He’s a big, physical, press corner with the ability to play year one in Matt Patricia’s defense.

Patricia was able to develop a number of defensive backs in his time with the Patriots, and someone as talented as the first-team All-Big Ten selection Oruwariye, should be no different.

With his size and ball skills (seven interceptions the past two seasons) he should be able to make an impact year one.
