As the 2019 NFL Draft sadly comes to a close, we take a look at some of the top value picks of day three, here with the best in round five.

As the 2019 NFL Draft comes to a close we want to take a look at some of the best value picks on day three. How did teams fare in the fifth round, specifically?

This is a round where teams typically find developmental prospects or special teams contributors, but you never know if a team is going to be able to find a year one starter here.

Some teams might have. Let’s dive in to the top picks in this round.

LB. Ben Burr-Kirven. 142. 36. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Washington. player

We really liked Seattle’s pickup of Gary Jennings in the fourth round, and I can’t tell which one I like better between that one and linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven here in the fifth.

Burr-Kirven played in a whopping 47 college games for the Huskies, and despite being a smaller linebacker he has produced tremendously for that program.

This past season, he racked up 176 — yes, 176 — total tackles.

He had 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions, and four forced fumbles.

This guy is as productive as you will find in this draft class, and was an All-American as well as the Pat Tillman Pac 12 Defensive Player of the Year.

I like this guy to start for a long time in the NFL.
