Round 6 Pick 188: Jimmy Moreland, CB, James Madison

The Titans have one of the better secondary units in the NFL but they could use some added depth at the corner position.

Jimmy Moreland is an undersized, small-school corner that could immediately help out on special teams and could prove to be a nickel option at the next level.

The 2018 FCS All-American has incredible ball skills as he was able to rack up an unbelievable 18 interceptions and had 63 pass deflections in his 4 year career at James Madison.

These are gaudy numbers that are undeniable, even if it’s not against top level competition.

On top of that, for a smaller player, Moreland shows no fear when playing the run and does well to get his hands around ball carriers in open space.

This would be a great way to close out the 2019 Titans draft class as Moreland could prove to be a steal down the line.
