Round 4 Pick 121: Blake Cashman, LB, Minnesota

While the Titans did select Rashaan Evans in the first round of the 2018 draft, they could still use some depth at the linebacker position.

With Wesley Woodyard on the last year of his deal, Tennessee could look to add someone else to play inside when his time with the team is up.

Blake Cashman would be an excellent option in the middle rounds.

As somebody who follows the NFL draft process religiously, I can say that it’s hard to get a beat on where Cashman will land.

Some draft personalities have him as a day 3 guy and some have him as one of the top linebacker options in the 2019 draft.

I personally believe he will be selected in the 3rd to 4th round range and if he’s available here for the Titans, he would be an excellent addition to their young, talented defense.

The chatter for Cashman began after absolutely crushing it at the NFL combine.

He finished in the top 5 among linebackers in the 40, the vert, the broad jump and the 20 yard shuttle, solidifying himself as one of the best athletes at the position.

Cashman has solid size and was highly productive with the Gophers, as he amassed 100 tackles in his senior year and finished his career with 31 tackles for a loss.

Pairing Cashman with the young, talented LB core of Rashaan Evans, Jayon Brown and Harold Landry would give the Titans quite the unit going into 2019.
