The talk about the Arizona Cardinals has been about Murray and Bosa, but what if they go elsewhere? Here are potential surprise No. 1 picks in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Throughout the majority of the 2019 NFL Draft process, the talk about who the Arizona Cardinals will select with the No. 1 overall pick has had everything to do with either Kyler Murray or Nick Bosa.

Bosa has been the clear top prospect in this draft the entire time, which is why he started as the favorite to be the first player off the board. Bosa’s reign as the clear cut No. 1 overall pick didn’t last long, as Kyler Murray took the lead the moment Kliff Kingsbury got the Cardinals job.

Most of what we’ve heard during the draft process has been Kyler Murray related. We’ve all been so sure he’s going first to be the new Cardinals QB. That is, until lately, when reports have come out saying the Cardinals are backing off taking Murray. Now Nick Bosa is the favorite to be drafted first overall once again.

But what if the Cardinals chose not to draft Kyler Murray or Nick Bosa with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft? Sure, it’d be something none of us expected, but there are candidates who I can potentially see being selected over the clear front runners.

I’ve selected three potential surprise players who I believe could end up being the number No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
