After months of crazy rumors and moves we are finally here. On this episode of The NFL Mocks Podcast, we give you the 2019 NFL Draft: Final Mock Draft

The 2019 NFL Draft is just two days away, which means it’s time for the final mock drafts of the 2019 offseason. The NFL Mocks podcast takes one last look into the crystal ball and makes predictions for this year’s draft.

Host Brooks Austin is joined by fellow NFL Mocks contributor  Jake Schyvinck and fellow FanSider Nate Williamson to go through the final NFL mock draft of 2019. Some highlights of the draft:

T.J. Hockenson lands in Jacksonville

Most mock drafts have tied the Jaguars to Jawaan Taylor, the offensive tackle from Florida. However, Cedric Ogbuehi was signed this offseason and despite his less than admirable performance during his time with Cincinnati, the Jags hope he has better luck in Jacksonville.

This isn’t the first time they’ve done this if you remember Ereck Flowers was on the Jags roster just last year.

Hockenson immediately gives newly paid QB Nick Foles a security blanket in the passing game and he’s a more than adequate blocking tight end so he will fit the run-heavy scheme in Jacksonville as well.

Good news Falcons fans

In this final mock draft from The NFL Mocks Podcast, somehow Ed Oliver fell down to #14 to the Atlanta Falcons.

So, despite all of the rumors about Dan Quinn potentially having to trade up to get his guy in Oliver, he somehow falls to the Falcons here in this mock draft. Will it shake out like this on Thursday? For Falcons fans everywhere, I’m sure they hope so, but probably not.

Nonetheless, sometimes in these live draft scenarios like we played out on this podcast with Jake, Nate, and Brooks, guys fall. This is one of those cases.
