Linebacker #2: Devin Bush, Michigan

Again, the top two of the linebacker class, to me, are a lot like the top of the defensive tackle spot. Meaning, that there are two guys at both positions that most feel will go far and ahead of the others at their position.

The difference is, Devin Bush might be the last linebacker taken for a round or two. The drop off after these two guys is so drastic that I could honestly see the next linebacker coming off the board in the mid to late second round.

As for Bush the prospect, the only player in this draft that may hit harder than him on a down to down basis would probably be John Abrams from Mississippi State, who we will get to. But nonetheless, Bush’s tackling ability and play recognition at the linebacker position will make him a decade long pro in the NFL.

At this point, it is clear that the scarcity at the position in this draft will radically improve Bush’s draft position.
