Edge #1: Nick Bosa, Ohio State

Sometimes in life, the best decision is the easiest one, and this is one of those cases. Nick Bosa has the highest floor of any draft pick available in this draft class, therefore he’s the easy pick here at Edge #1.

When it comes to being a fully formed product in terms of an NFL prospect, Bosa does not disappoint. This is a young man that shows all of the weapons of a perennial all-pro at the defensive end position. At the very worst, this is an athlete that will produce 10 sacks every single year while holding his own in the run game.

At his best? Bosa has a chance to be a top-5 edge player in the NFL. There isn’t a single area of his game that could be considered a weakness unless you want to hold the durability against him.

Which, to be honest, it’s a reasonable assessment considering not only his history in college, but his brother Joey’s history with the Chargers.
