Third round: Terry McLaurin, WR, Ohio State

Behind Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett, the Seahawks are thin at the wide receiver position.

They like to draft guys with great long speed, and McLaurin certainly fits the bill there running a 4.35 at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine.

Though he wasn’t as productive as his teammate Parris Campbell, McLaurin may have a more immediately translatable skillset to the NFL when it comes to being a well-rounded receiver.

He’s a solid route runner and showed at the Senior Bowl the ability to separate and win at the catch point.

He’s a very physical receiver which the Seahawks love, and does a great job after the catch. Having a receiver with this kind of speed to go along with Lockett and Baldwin gives the Seahawks a lot more options in the passing game.
