In this seven-round Baltimore Ravens mock draft, the team goes offensive heavy with a wide receiver for Lamar Jackson on Day One of the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Baltimore Ravens have made a lot of changes this off season, especially on defense, after they went 10-6 (to win the AFC North) last year. After trading Joe Flacco (Broncos), the Ravens made an organizational statement as it is now Lamar Jackson’s team moving forward.

As Jackson heads into year two, the run game will be the focal point of their offense as they have major needs at wide receiver and interior offensive line. The signing of Seth Roberts does not change their plan, addressing potentially their biggest need.

Even though they signed both Mark Ingram (Saints) and Earl Thomas (Seahawks), they could still address running back and defensive back on day 2 or 3 in the draft.

The Ravens should look to trade down from pick 22 but if it does not come into fruition, I could see them taking an interior offensive lineman or wide receiver to improve their offense.

On defense, they lost Eric Weddle (Rams) and C.J. Mosley (Jets) in free agency but the biggest losses are at edge rusher. Losing both Terrell Suggs (Cardinals) and Za’Darius Smith (Packers) signals both Tim Williams and Tyus Bowser to take a big step forward in 2019.

I expect them to address edge potentially early on day 2 and inside linebacker late day 2 or 3 as they still have Patrick Onwuasor and Kenny Young (rookie from last year). Brent Urban is also a free agent still so the interior defensive line is always an option late in the draft as they could also address their defensive back depth (particularly at safety).

With that said, this seven-round Baltimore Ravens mock draft was done with The Draft Network draft simulator (no trades) as I tried to address their needs the best I could with the players available at each pick.
