1. Arizona Cardinals

Pretty much everything we’ve heard about the Cardinals recently has to do with QB Kyler Murray. This time, let’s talk about a QB Murray has frequently been compared to.

If I’m the Arizona Cardinals, I wouldn’t hesitate to trade the number one overall pick for Russell Wilson, and I’ll tell you why. Russell Wilson may be 30, but he’s won a Super Bowl and played in another. He’s a proven winner, not only in the regular season, but postseason too.

Kyler Murray may become a great NFL QB, but there are no guarantees. Murray hasn’t proven anything in the NFL. He hasn’t played a single snap. Wilson has reached the NFL’s highest level.

If you ask me, I’d rather have the proven QB over the QB who has potential to be the next Russell Wilson. Potential doesn’t always work out. This isn’t a knock against Murray, I just think I’d rather have proven winning and experience at the highest level than bank on potential.

I believe this trade would work out nicely for both sides. The Cardinals would get a QB who can help them win right now, while the Seahawks could, if they chose to do so, get a QB very similar to what Russell Wilson can do. With these two teams being division rivals, I doubt this Russell Wilson trade ever happens, but if the Cardinals can pull it off, they’d greatly benefit from it.
