The deadline for the Seahawks to extend Russell Wilson is today, which means a Russell Wilson trade could be in the works! Where might he go?

Today’s the day. It’s the day Russell Wilson set as the deadline for the Seattle Seahawks to extend his contract. The Seahawks QB has made it clear he wants a long term extension done now rather than later, and rumors are floating around that Wilson may not want to be part of this organization any longer.

With the contract deadline today, it’s quite possible Russell Wilson could be playing on another team come the start of the 2019 season. A Wilson trade could happen in the near future.

With rumors of Wilson potentially being on the move, we have to wonder, where could he end up? I doubt the Seahawks will let Wilson walk away for nothing. Rather, they’ll do everything they can to keep him until they can find the right trade partner.

So, which teams should consider a Wilson trade? When considering this question, I took into account the QB situation of every NFL team.

With that in mind, I came up with a list of five NFL teams who should strongly consider a Russell Wilson trade.
