Wide Receiver #1: A.J. Brown, Ole Miss:

Every year during the draft process you run into a guy that you feel never failed you. Not once. When you first turned on the tape you loved what you saw. Then he goes to the combine, and not only confirms what you think you saw but exceeds your expectations. This year that guy for me was A.J. Brown.

From the moment he touches the ball you can just tell that he just has something different. Some mystical awareness that allows him to embarrass defenders that believe they have a kill shot lined up. Again, all these guys on this list are special in terms of their physical capabilities, and I could be totally wrong (because that’s how this thing works), but he’s just special with the ball in his hands.

He averaged 7.6 YAC per reception throughout his career at Ole Miss. To put that into comparison, JuJu Smith-Schuster led all WR’s in the NFL last season with 5.8 YAC per reception. His success after the catch stems from the fact that, at 6’1” 230lbs, he breaks tackles like an elite running back.

Oh and he went 4.49 at the combine as well so the straight-line speed critics were silenced early in the process.
