Third round: Jace Sternberger, TE, Texas A&M

The Bengals re-signed CJ Uzomah and brought back Tyler Eifert as well, but they’re not done addressing the tight end position, in my opinion.

Jace Sternberger is certainly no TJ Hockenson as a blocker, but he’s a heck of a receiving talent and is one of the more interesting players in this year’s draft class.

At 6-foot-4, 251 pounds, Sternberger is a move tight end who can split out in the slot and perhaps play the role the Bengals had hoped Tyler Eifert would play for many years.

Unfortunately, Eifert can’t stay healthy, and Uzomah is not a seam stretcher.

Sternberger broke out in a big way this past season at Texas A&M.
