Draft Recap

Overall, this draft would be a nice coup for the 49ers.

Starting off with Nick Bosa, the headliner, the 49ers get an elite edge player to pair with one of the NFL’s best in Dee Ford.

Those two guys will be able to feast with the talent the 49ers have on the interior defensive line with DeForest Buckner, Arik Armstead, and Solomon Thomas.

After the Bosa pick, the 49ers get an enforcer on the back end of their defense, a quintessential tone setter who plays the game with unrivaled passion. Johnathan Abram is a great get for the back end of this secondary.

JJ Arcega-Whiteside is a local product who has basketball bloodlines and incredible jump ball abilities. He’s a receiver who could play inside-out in Kyle Shanahan’s offense.

Kris Boyd is an experience player at cornerback with toughness and quickness.

Drew Sample and Michael Jordan provide quality depth.
