San Francisco 49ers 2019 mock draft: Nick Bosa sets the tone
Sixth round (second pick): Michael Jordan, IOL, Ohio State
With their final pick in this mock draft situation, the 49ers grab a developmental interior lineman who can compete at either guard or center.
Though this Michael Jordan is not the greatest guard of all-time like the basketball player is (see what I did there) he is fully capable of providing an NFL team with a solid sixth or seventh man on the interior.
At 6-foot-6, Jordan is quite tall for a center but he did a commendable job there.
A former four-star prospect, Jordan started for the Buckeyes as a true freshman, something no one had done since Orlando Pace in 1994 on the offensive line.
Why does he fall to the sixth round?
Some scouts are concerned about the aggression Jordan plays with, meaning he’s not ‘mean’ enough on the field all the time. He has a decent initial hand punch but sometimes gets sloppy with his footwork.
He’s worth a developmental flyer late.
